The XLink can ring almost any telephone. And it can easily ring multiple telephones.

Sometimes some very old antique telephones do not ring properly. This is usually because they are very old, out of spec and dirty in their ringing mechanisms.

There is an option in XLink to generate more powerfull ringing to allow even very old and out of spec telephones to ring.

XLink software versions v0150 and higher support this feature.

XLink software versions v0151 and higher support enabling this feature by dialing a DTMF code.

There are two ways to enable the Extra Ring Power feature:

1. Dial Code from Telephone

This option works with XLink software v0151 and up.

1. Pick up any telephone that is connected to the XLink
2. Dial * * *. The XLink will send version information to the telephone as Caller ID
3. Now dial 1 8 # to enable the Extra Ring Power feature.

2. Use the XWizard Software

This option works with XLink software v0150 and up.

1. Install and run the XWizard Update and Configuration Software on your computer.
2. Connect your XLink to the computer
3. Press the Configure button
4. Show the Antique Options



5. Enable the Extra Ring Power option
6. Press Save Changes
